2. VINYL RECORDS

 The fact that our vinyl is a mixture of new and used, means we operate a vinyl grading policy,
due to the nature of second hand records in particular, some items may contain wear,
such as surface marks or scuffs or less than new cases.
However, this should not affect the overall playability of the vinyl. 
Although our vinyl is a mixture of new and second-hand, they are all fully guaranteed by us.
Each item (if used) will have the grading displayed.
Please be aware that when grading vinyl,
it is apparent that different people tend to grade to their own way of thinking.
Therefore the grading term used can only be accepted as opinion.

3. HARDWARE  & OTHER PRODUCTS

     All of our hardware products are boxed and brand new unless clearly stated otherwise .

4. ORDERS

  We guarantee to make every reasonable effort to ensure that all products we supply are of the highest quality,
 reach you in good condition, and are delivered promptly.

5. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

  Some of the items that we sell can be of a highly technical nature.
As you can probably imagine it is not practical to publish a highly detailed specification for all the goods.
 Therefore all pictures, descriptions etc.. are intended for the sole purpose of providing approximate illustrations only.
A more detailed explanation of specification and/or compatibility can be obtained by contacting us.
This explanation will be based on our own independent testing of products and should be accepted as opinion only.
 Unless the customer request's specific information regarding an item,
we shall assume that the customer is aware of all the necessary specification requirements .
Manufacturers of the products we sell reserve the right to amend their product 
tech-spec without prior notice.

6. CDs, & DVDS

All videos, CDs, CD-Roms, and DVD's are in PAL format unless otherwise stated
(please see individual items for multi-region compatibility).
     Please ensure that your video, CD or DVD player will support these formats before ordering.

7. PRODUCT GUARANTEES

  Products are not supplied on a trial basis.
Hardware products are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranties.
 Warranty details and length are included with the product,
but will be a minimum of 12 months
 (on some products you may be able to buy an extended warranty).
     Warranty applicable to clearance or second hand items will will be clearly
stated with the product.

     Exceptions are the wear and tear of faders and cross-faders,
stylus and cartridges or professional use and neglect.

8. PRICES

  We reserve the right to amend our prices without prior notice.
 All customers with outstanding orders will be notified of any change in prices
before their order is charged and despatched.
Orders are accepted subject to availability. 
Prices are correct at the time of publication or upload to our website.
We are not obliged to supply goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order.

The automatic email  you may receive indicates that
 we have received your order and does not constitute order confirmation
(ie; availability or payment charged).


9. PURCHASING FROM 24-7 VINYL

 Your order will not be processed until your chosen payment method has been accepted and(or)  your credit / debit card has been authorised.
If you are paying for your goods online using a credit or debit card, you will see if your card has been authorised by the acquiring bank, as our payment system is connected directly to the live banking systems.
This system like any other can at times be taken offline for either security updates or general maintenance, although by using the protx system monitor (click view basket to show the system monitor) you can now view the operational status of these live payment systems. (useful if theres a problem and you dont know whats causing it)
By submitting your order, you are offering to buy the goods and allowing
us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying those goods
 (including passing your personal details onto other shipping subcontractors).
 No property or title of the goods shall pass from 24-7 vinyl to the customer
 until payment has been received in full.

9 a. PRIVACY POLICY

 Personal details can be removed from our system by written request.
     (see above address)
     We will never pass your details on to third parties (inc. email addresses).
We take our customers security very seriously and at all times we make every effort to ensure 
personal details are kept secure.
     We never debit your credit card for items not in stock,
 and your card is only charged when your order is ready for dispatch.
    

     We will only hold or reserve an item/s while waiting for cheque clearance
(uk cheques only).

10. AVAILABILITY OF GOODS

     All orders are subject to availability


11. CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS & PAYPAL PAYMENTS

Credit and debit cards are accepted without surcharge. 
We do however reserve the right to deliver only to the cardholders billing address.
If requesting an alternative delivery address please state this on your order,
 along with your card registered/billing address.
You may be randomly asked to provide us with your proof of address at any time during your order process.
We now use the latest CV2 and AVS Security check systems,
if you are unable or refuse to provide us with these details you order will be cancelled
This is to help prevent credit card fraud.
  If you are using a credit card not belonging to yourself,
you must give the full cardholder´s name and address with your order.
We will then contact the cardholder to obtain authorization..
Use of stolen credit cards is taken very seriously and will result in worldwide police
notification and court action in all cases.

Chargebacks: we reserve the right to charge a punitive fee of £50 for any fraudulent or unauthorised chargebacks.
We also reserve the right to reclaim any losses incurred by failure to adhere to these terms and conditions.

12. CHEQUES

  Personal or business cheques are welcomed but clearance is required
 prior to order shipping. 

This normally takes 3-5 working days from when we receive the cheque.
Please note we only accept UK cheques.
Items may be reserved while waiting for cheque clearance.

13. BANKERS DRAFTS, BUILDING SOCIETY CHEQUES,
POSTAL ORDERS & DIRECT MONEY TRANSFERS

  The above payment methods are acceptable and should clear immediately upon receipt.
 You may also transfer funds (or pay cash) directly into our bank account.

or you can contact us directly for further information.


14. SHIPPING

All records are mailed in strong cardboard envelopes (or boxes) with additional cardboard inserts.
When placing your order online it is essential that your shipping details are correct
and that you have specified the correct delivery address (country).
If you enter any details wrong your postage will not be calculated correctly,
therefore in such cases will adjust your shipping accordingly.
All other orders are shipped in appropriate strong packaging.
Orders can be tracked at any time by logging in to the site and visiting the 'My Orders' section. 
We advise you to ensure somebody is present at the delivery address,
as some items may require a signature upon delivery.
Once goods are delivered they become your responsibility. 
Orders sent to a non card registered address are sent at the customers own liability
 (see credit & debit cards above).


15. SHIPPING TIMES

  Vinyl orders placed before 2:30 pm usually ship same day and all confirmed vinyl orders
are despatched within 24 hours (Monday-Friday) they may be transported or handled by
third party couriers or mail contractors, therefore all delivery dates and times given are only estimates,
particularly at peak shipping times (ie.. Christmas). 
We endeavour to get your order to you within the estimated delivery time, however,
on rare occasions the delivery may be delayed, we cannot be held responsible for delays
 by the mail service or for any consequential losses you may suffer if
the delivery is not on time. Please ensure all address details are entered correctly,
as any errors or omissions leading to a failed delivery will be your responsibility including re-shipping charges.


16. SHIPPING CHARGES

 Approximate shipping Charges will be calculated on our website for online orders
or quoted by telephone when ordering by traditional mail order.
24-7 vinyl operate the one of cheapest most cost effective delivery charges anywhere on the web,
with next day delivery available to UK customers for just £5.00 or standard delivery for just £2.50 for any size order.

  If your order is returned to us undelivered due to your own fault,
you will be responsible for re-shipping charges.

17. UK CUSTOMERS

  If your goods do not arrive within 5 days of despatch,
 first call or e-mail us to confirm your order has been shipped,
 and that we have your correct delivery address details.
Normal delivery time after despatch is approximately 2 to 5 days.
Please note larger items such as vinyl mailers or decks may take up to 7 working days,
 but usually arrive within 4.

     Please note that we will not ship any orders to university addresses.


18. OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

  Due to the Increasing risk of credit card fraud we reserve the right to cancel any order.
There is now a limit of ten records per order for NEW (First Time) overseas customers paying by credit card.
If this is a problem, you may contact us by phone with your full payment and address details
and we will run the necessary checks to authorize a larger order. If your goods do not arrive within 21 days of despatch, 
please contact us to confirm shipment of your order.

19. IMPORT DUTY & TAXES

   It is your responsibility as the customer to pay all applicable customs fees,
 and taxes for your country.
 If you refuse to pay these charges then your order may be abandoned,
 and you will lose your goods as well as your money.
These taxes are only applicable for non UK and non European Union countries.

20. CANCELLATIONS

  You may cancel any order before it has been shipped,
 once the order has been shipped it is complete and cannot be cancelled.
Our Returns Terms and Conditions will then be applicable.

  If you intend to cancel your order by e-mail you must:
 ensure you receive a confirmation of the cancellation (within 24 hours),
your order cannot be considered cancelled until you receive this email,
Therefore the best way to cancel your order is by telephone as we can cancel
 your order straight away.
